About me

I am a Post-Doc at the Seminar of Applied Mathematics (SAM) at ETH. I am interested in the mathematical analysis and numerical analysis of partial differential equations, with a focus on wave phenomena.

For my doctorate I worked at the University of Tübingen, where we used time-dependent boundary integral equations to derive efficient numerical methods for many boundary conditions in the context of wave scattering problems. My topic was part of the Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1173.

In my role at ETH, I am working on the mathematical foundations of metamaterials, in particular for materials with high refractive index.
