About me
I am a PhD student with Prof. Nicolai Meinshausen at the Seminar for Statistics, ETH Zurich.
My research interests lie at the intersection of statistics and climate physics. I am using statistical methods to gain knowledge about the Earth's climate system. My current projects include:
- Using machine learning tools to upsample low-resolution climate model simulations
- Analysing relationships between temperature and evapotranspiration with causal methods
- Predicting occurrences of future climate records
Besides my work, I am passionate about fighting the climate crisis and about sharing some of my enthusiam for maths and computer science with school students. Feel free to reach out to me via email if you want to chat about research, acitivism our outreach!
