I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zürich.
I work on questions related to low-dimensional topology. I am particularly interested in knot theory, knot concordance, and the topology of 4-manifolds.
More about meI completed a BA in Mathematics and MMath (Part III) at University of Cambridge. I worked for a PhD as a student of Professor Andrew Ranicki at the University of Edinburgh, where I studied manifold classification, Surgery Theory and high-dimensional knots.
From January 2015 I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Durham University. In November and December of 2016 I was a visitor at the HIM in Bonn as part of the Junior Hausdorff Trimester Program in Topology. For the first half of 2017 I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the CIRGET lab at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), and was teaching at McGill University.
From 2017-2020, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Boston College.
