Welcome to my homepage!

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Prof. Rico Zenklusen at the Institute for Operations Research (IFOR) of the Department of Mathematics at ETH Zurich.

Before coming to ETH, I obtained my PhD in Computer Science and Master in Mathematics from McGill University under the supervision of Bruce Shepherd, and my BSc in Mathematics from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid.

Broadly speaking, my main research interests lie in the design of exact and approximation algorithms for Combinatorial Optimization problems. Most of my publications revolve around areas such as: submodular optimization, online algorithms, contention resolution schemes, and integer programs with bounded subdeterminants. For more information about my research, visit the Research tab.

I am also very interested in applying optimization techniques to real-world settings. I have done a few internships during my studies, which I really enjoyed. For a more detailed info about my professional / industrial experience visit my LinkedIn page.
