Abstract.
L-functions encapsulate information about important arithmetical sequences through their coefficients in Dirichlet series and Euler products representations. Analytic properties, such as the distribution of complex zeros (among many other things), reveal intrinsic features beyond superficial formulas. The course will cover a wide panorama of the most current investigations.
