About me
I am a postdoc at ETH Zurich since 2023. My research is concerned with forecast performance evaluation, model choice, loss functions, elicitability, and risk measures. This places it at the intersection of mathematical statistics and mathematical finance.
Before joining ETH Zurich, I held two postdoc positions at Vienna University of Economics and Business and at Imperial College London. I did my PhD at the University of Bern under supervision of Prof. Johanna Ziegel. I obtained a BSc and MSc in Mathematics (minors in Economics and Philosophy) from Heidelberg University.
I am also interested in didactics of mathematics, both at university and highschool level. Since 2024, I have also been working as a highschool teacher of mathematics at Gymnasium / FMS Lerbermatt in Köniz, Bern.
