Activity 1: Functions
- make 5-10 input queries to guess a function
- you only get one attempt to guess each function
- 6 points if solved with at most 5 input queries, then -1 point for each input query
- F1, F2 have two inputs, one output
- F3, F4, F5 have one input, one output
- 20 minutes time limit
Activity 2: Shuttle
- there are four questions, A1-A4; the answer to A1 is required for A2 and so on
- split into two sub-teams; one side gets A1 and A3, the other gets A2 and A4
- correct answer on first guess: 4 points; second guess: 3 points
- if first and second guess are incorrect, we give you the correct answer
- 12 minute time limit. If finished within 10 minutes: 1 point; within 8 minutes: 2 points
- there are two rounds
Activity 3: Relay
- six questions that you have to work on in order
- correct answer on first guess: 4 points; second guess: 3 points
- 20 minutes time limit. If finished within 18 minutes: 2 points; within 16 minutes: 4 points
Activity 4: Crossnumber
- solve a crossword puzzle where the answers are numbers
- split into two sub-teams; one side gets the 'down' clues, the other gets the 'across' clues
- submit your filled out puzzle after 20 minutes; 1 point for each correct square/digit
